Firecracker Jazz Band

End your Thanksgiving weekend with a Bang! as the Haywood County Arts Council brings the high-spirited Firecracker Jazz Band to Waynesville at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, November 29, 2009 at the Performing Arts Center, 250 Pigeon Street. The concert is sponsored by OLDTOWN BANK, John Highsmith, DDS & Sandra Hayes, WCQS Radio 88.1, the Grandview Lodge, and New Meridian Technologies. Concert tickets are $10.00 per person. Listeners will get a sneak preview of the concert on Friday, November 27, 2009 on WCQS Radio, 88.1 with a live studio broadcast from 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. with Dick Kowal.
Tickets for Firecracker Jazz Band may be purchased in person at the Haywood County Arts Council, 86 North Main Street, Waynesville, Monday through Saturday, between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm or by phone at 828-452-0593. Concert tickets are $10.00 per person. A special pre-concert brunch is being offered at the Grandview Lodge, 466 Lickstone Road, Waynesville, from 11:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. for $30 per person. The $30 brunch price includes a menu with over 30 items including an omelet bar, a personal "meet and greet" with members of the Firecracker Jazz Band, and one ticket to the 3:00 pm concert. All-inclusive brunch tickets and/or individual concert tickets can be purchased at the Haywood County Arts Council at 86 North Main, Waynesville. Space is limited so get your tickets early.
